The Pastures Community Centre has been at the heart of Kingsthorpe since opening its doors in September 2000. Built by the borough council and located on Welford Road, the centre is now proudly managed by Pastures Community – a Company Limited by Guarantee (08002182) and Registered Charity (1151055). While West Northamptonshire Council retains the freehold, our dedicated team of local volunteers oversees the day-to-day management, bookings, finances and ongoing care of the building.

The Pastures Community Centre is a much-loved and well-used community hub. Long-standing volunteers who have been involved since the planning stages have helped shape the centre into the welcoming space it is today. Their commitment reflects the spirit of community that defines the Pastures.

The centre is home to a wide range of activities for all ages and interests.  Regular groups include Scouts, Guides, Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Kickboxing, Zumba, slimming and exercise groups, extra tuition and board games.

At weekends the centre is a popular venue for children’s parties and family celebrations.  The centre has two rooms available for hire, the Birch Hall with a capacity of 100 people and/or the Highfield Room with a capacity of 40 people making the capacity for the whole centre 140 people.

The centre is fully accessible, has ample parking, a fully equipped kitchen, toilets, and a secure garden play area – plus a nearby park – our facilities are ideal for both regular bookings and special occasions.

Above all, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and affordable space that brings people together and supports wellbeing across the local community.
